Horst Construction

In the late 1800s, the elders of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church selected Joseph Horst to build their new church. He had distinguished himself as a Master Builder in the area, a man to be trusted, who knew construction, could layout and design the church, and oversee the work.

While construction has changed immensely since then, the reason people select Horst Construction has not. Quality and on-time and on-budget performance has been maintained and improved upon by generations of the Horst Construction Team. From its beginning, Horst has been known for the high standards of integrity, quality, service and personal attention to clients established by our founder.  Horst takes pride in delivering projects that exceed customers’ expectations.

General construction, construction management, and design-build services have been expanded to include construction specialties – site work and excavating and masonry. Headquartered in Lancaster, PA, the firm’s service area includes Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio.

Horst Construction is one of a family of companies that make up the Horst Group, a privately owned, diversified corporation specializing in Design, Construction and Insurance. By the way, more than a century later, weekly services are still being held at Trinity Evangelical Congregational — Horst Construction’s first church project.
